Hot Wheels Infinite Rush launches as open-world arcade racer

Milestone and Mattel have released Hot Wheels Infinite Rush, an open-world arcade racing game. Moving away from the traditional closed circuits of previous titles, this installment features four interconnected themed islands: Wheelswood, Gearville, Tentacle Bay, and Drifty Temples.

At launch, the game includes over 150 vehicles, ranging from Hot Wheels Originals to licensed real-world models. These are categorized into four handling classes: Drifters, Speeders, Titans, and Versatiles. Players can utilize a 'Rush Squad' system to switch between four different vehicles during exploration.

Key features include a 'Track Builder' mode that allows players to design custom courses integrated into the environment, and extensive customization options for decals, wheels, and visual effects. The game is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, Microsoft Store, and Epic Games Store. It also supports online cross-play and local split-screen for up to four players.
