Hotto Motto to launch seafood tempura bowl series

Hotto Motto is launching its seafood tempura bowl series starting September 18, 2026. The lineup features seven different products, including shrimp, squid, and golden flounder tempura paired with lotus root, eggplant, and okra.

The series includes several variations such as the standard seafood tempura bowl, a premium version, and a seafood bowl with simmered egg. A new budget-friendly option, the ‘Toku Tendon’, will be available starting at 590 yen. Additionally, three new varieties featuring grated radish for a refreshing taste will be introduced.

To cater to regional preferences, the sauce and tempura dipping sauce will vary by location. In eastern Japan, the sauce will combine two types of soy sauce with two types of bonito flakes, while in western Japan, it will feature a blend of bonito, kelp, dried sardine, and shiitake mushroom umami with dark soy sauce.
