House Fires Ravage Hundreds of Homes in Sorong and Bondowoso, Indonesia

In Bondowoso, East Java, three houses in the Kemirian Krajan village burned on the night of June 22, 2026 after a reported electrical short caused an explosion. The fire was quickly contained through community effort and the arrival of fire‑fighting units, resulting in no injuries but material losses estimated at roughly Rp100 million.
