Yemeni Houthi forces announced a series of attacks targeting Saudi Arabian interests, including a ballistic missile strike on the oil tanker 'Amzan' in the northern Red Sea near Yanbu. The strike caused a fire on the vessel and prompted nearby ships to flee the area. The Saudi shipping company Bahri confirmed the incident.

In addition to the maritime attack, Houthi spokesperson Yahya Seri reported two land-based operations. A military convoy in the El-Abr and El-Vedia regions was targeted by drones and ballistic missiles, reportedly destroying over 10 trucks carrying military equipment. Furthermore, an attack in the El-Kenayis region targeted Saudi military concentrations and ammunition depots, resulting in casualties and the destruction of supplies.

The Houthis described these actions as part of a 'blockade against blockade' strategy in response to Saudi maritime restrictions. While the tanker sustained damage, the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported that all crew members are safe and no environmental impact has been noted.
