HOVERAir announces VERSA hybrid pocket gimbal and drone

HOVERAir, a brand under Zero Zero Robotics, has announced the VERSA, a hybrid device designed to function as both a handheld three-axis pocket gimbal camera and an autonomous drone. The device features a modular design where a propeller attachment can be clicked onto the camera base, transforming it into a flying unit within seconds.

As an autonomous drone, the VERSA does not require a traditional controller; instead, it utilizes intelligent flight modes and AI tracking to operate. The company aims to bridge the gap between the handheld gimbal camera market, occupied by products like the DJI Osmo Pocket series, and the selfie drone market.

While specific technical specifications such as sensor size, resolution, flight time, and weight have not yet been released, HOVERAir plans to launch preorders through an Indiegogo campaign, expected to begin in mid-August.
