HOVERAir VERSA secures FCC certification for US sale

HOVERAir has announced that its new VERSA, a modular pocket gimbal camera that can transform into a self-flying drone, has received FCC certification for sale in the United States. The device, registered under Shenzhen Zero Zero Infinity Technology, features a 3-axis mechanical gimbal, 4K video at 60 fps in 10-bit HDR, and a top speed of 22 mph.

This certification is significant as it distinguishes the VERSA from the company’s previous AQUA drone, which was excluded from the US market due to FCC restrictions on foreign-produced drones added to the Covered List in late 2025. Unlike the AQUA, the VERSA has secured the necessary authorization to bypass these recent regulatory hurdles.

The VERSA is designed to function both as a handheld stabilized camera for vlogging and as an autonomous flying camera with over ten automated flight modes and AI-assisted composition.
