HP announces OmniBook AI PCs powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark

HP Inc. has announced the upcoming release of two premium AI-powered laptops, the OmniBook Ultra 16 and OmniBook X 14, which will utilize NVIDIA RTX Spark technology. These devices are part of a broader shift toward local, on-device AI processing, aimed at developers, creators, and gamers.

The RTX Spark platform features an RTX Blackwell GPU, up to 128GB of unified memory, and a 20-core Grace CPU. HP’s new models are expected to offer high-performance capabilities, including up to 1 petaflop of FP4 AI performance and 3K OLED displays. While NVIDIA has indicated that RTX Spark-powered Windows PCs are scheduled for shipment in October 2026, specific pricing and regional availability for the HP OmniBook models have not yet been disclosed.

In addition to the laptops, HP is developing the OmniDesk, a compact desktop designed for high-performance AI computing. The company’s strategy focuses on integrating intelligent agents and automated workflows directly into user devices, reducing the reliance on cloud-based servers for generative AI tasks.
