HP expands AI PC portfolio with new OmniBook series

HP has expanded its AI-powered computing portfolio with the introduction of the OmniBook series, designed to integrate artificial intelligence directly into user workflows. The new lineup includes the HP OmniBook Ultra 16, which targets developers, content creators, and gamers with high-performance capabilities, and the HP OmniBook X 14, a portable device aimed at mainstream premium users.

The OmniBook X 14 features the Intel Panther Lake-H platform and an Intel Core Ultra 7 356H processor. It includes an Intel AI Boost NPU capable of up to 50 TOPS, qualifying it as a Microsoft Copilot+ PC. This hardware allows for local execution of AI functions, such as personal AI agents and advanced content creation tools. The device is equipped with 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and an OLED display, though the memory is soldered and cannot be upgraded.

In addition to these models, HP shared details regarding the upcoming HP OmniDesk, continuing the company's shift toward devices that utilize both on-device and cloud-based AI to automate tasks and enhance productivity.
