HR leadership in Brazil shifts toward strategic business partnership
The third edition of the BP do Futuro event took place in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, gathering approximately 150 HR professionals, executives, and business leaders to discuss the future of work. The agenda focused on innovation, strategic people management, mental health, and the application of NR-1 regulations, emphasizing psychosocial risk management and organizational sustainability.
Complementing these discussions on leadership, a study titled ‘Perfil do CHRO no Brasil 2026’, conducted by Myndz Expert Recruitment in partnership with Fundação Dom Cabral, highlights a shift in the role of Chief Human Resources Officers. The research, which surveyed 65 CHROs from large companies with revenues exceeding 1 billion reais, found that while 87.5% of leaders believe CEOs recognize HR as a strategic partner, only 61.5% feel the current HR model is prepared to sustain future corporate strategies. Key challenges identified include succession planning, the integration of artificial intelligence, and the training of new HR leadership.
