Human resources management trends in Brazil
Overview
The BP do Futuro event, held in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, brought together approximately 150 HR professionals and business leaders to discuss the future of work. The discussions centered on innovation, strategic people management, mental health, and the application of NR-1 regulations regarding psychosocial risk management.
Parallel to these discussions, research titled ‘Perfil do CHRO no Brasil 2026’ by Myndz Expert Recruitment and Fundação Dom Cabral indicates a shift in the role of Chief Human Resources Officers in Brazil. While 87.5% of surveyed leaders believe CEOs view HR as a strategic partner, only 61.5% feel the current HR model is equipped to sustain future corporate strategies. Identified challenges for leadership include succession planning, artificial intelligence integration, and the training of new HR professionals.
