Hércules Snow and Barbacoa Festival returns to Querétaro
The Snow and Barbacoa Festival is returning to the Hércules neighborhood in Querétaro on Sunday, October 18. This 11th edition marks the event's return to Plaza Bicentenario in the Villa Cayetano Rubio delegation after a seven-year hiatus caused by the pandemic.
Organizers expect approximately 4,000 visitors to participate in the festivities between 9:00 and 18:00. The event will feature around 70 to 75 exhibitors, including more than 40 artisans from the Mercadito Artesanal de Hércules, as well as local producers of barbacoa and traditional snow.
The cultural program includes various musical and dance performances from the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro (UAQ), such as the Rondalla Universitaria, the Compañía Folclórica, and the Mariachi Universitario. Additionally, a cultural pavilion will offer historical insights into the neighborhood and its former factory. To assist attendees, free parking will be available at the Josefina Nova school and on Pan de Dulce street, with municipal transport services provided for those using the more distant parking area.
