Hristijan Mickoski announces 500 million euros for local projects

North Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski announced that the central government has allocated approximately 500 million euros to support local municipalities and local self-government projects over the past 27 months. Mickoski stated that this level of direct central budget support for local authorities is unprecedented in the country's 35 years of independence.

During an inspection of construction work on the Ljubljanska Street bridge, the Prime Minister noted that several capital projects in Skopje are scheduled for completion by the New Year. He emphasized a government strategy focused on resolving long-standing issues and completing existing projects rather than creating new ones. Additionally, Mickoski informed that many municipalities are already preparing new project proposals for the next government funding cycle.
