Huauchinango celebrates 11 years as a Pueblo Mágico

Huauchinango celebrated its 11th anniversary as a ‘Pueblo Mágico’ through various activities aimed at promoting the cultural identity of the Sierra Norte de Puebla region.

As part of the festivities, the Universidad Tecnológica de Xicotepec de Juárez hosted a gastronomic showcase featuring regional ingredients and traditional flavors. Musical performances also played a central role, including a presentation by the group Impacto de la Sierra at the Central Garden.

Additionally, the Huasteca Music Workshop from the Huauchinango House of Culture performed ‘sones huastecos’ at the Museo Nacional de Culturas Populares in Mexico City, using traditional instruments such as the violin, jarana, and quinta huapanguera to share the municipality's musical heritage.
