Huawei and partners launch digital intelligence architecture and medical AI models
Huawei, Qiyuan Laboratory, and several academic and research institutions have released the ‘Digital Intelligence Fusion Open Architecture.’ This framework aims to resolve bottlenecks in enterprise AI by integrating data and intelligence systems. The architecture utilizes a four-layer approach—covering data storage, unified representation, digital intelligence fusion, and application layers—to reduce data movement and bridge the semantic gap between data and models.
In the medical sector, Ruijin Hospital and Huawei Cloud have launched RuiPath 2.0, an upgraded pathology large model. The 7B parameter model features improvements in diagnostic capability, interpretability, and lightweight deployment. Designed to address the uneven distribution of medical resources, the model allows hospitals to train customized versions using significantly less data. Currently, over 90 hospitals in China have implemented the RuiPath model to assist in early cancer diagnosis and standardized pathology services.
