Huawei unveils Pura X View with wide display and 7,000 mAh battery
Huawei has unveiled the Pura X View, a new smartphone that departs from the industry standard of tall, narrow displays in favor of a wider 16:9.5 aspect ratio. Unlike the company’s previous Pura X models, this is a conventional non-folding device.
The Pura X View features a 6.39-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2232 x 1320 and a peak brightness of 6,500 nits. Despite its slim 6.68 mm profile, the device is equipped with a large 7,000 mAh battery. It is expected to run on the new HarmonyOS 7, which features a refreshed 3D-style interface.
Available in four colors—Leaping Red, Linen Gray, Zero White, and Phantom Night Black—the phone offers up to 12GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Reservations have already opened in China.
