Huawei debuts Pura X View with wide-format non-foldable display
Huawei is introducing a new approach to mobile device design with the Pura X View, a smartphone that offers an expanded workspace without using a foldable display. Unlike competitors that utilize folding screens to increase surface area, the Pura X View employs a wider, non-folding form factor.
The device features a 6.39-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2232 × 1320 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 6500 nits. Its unique 5:3 aspect ratio makes the device significantly wider and shorter than standard smartphones, providing a surface area comparable to a traditional 6.9-inch flagship phone. This design is intended to optimize multitasking, gaming, video consumption, and reading, with the screen also supporting the M-Pen 3 Mini stylus.
