Huawei launches FreeBuds Pro 5 with enhanced noise cancellation

Huawei has introduced the FreeBuds Pro 5, a premium generation of True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds designed with an emphasis on advanced active noise cancellation (ANC) and ergonomic comfort. The new model features a redesigned, lightweight build, with each earbud weighing approximately 5.5 grams.

Technical enhancements include a dual-driver audio architecture and the L2HC 4.0 codec. The ANC system is reported to be up to 220% more effective than the previous FreeBuds Pro 4, utilizing environmental noise processing speeds of up to 400,000 times per second. To ensure clear communication, the device employs a three-microphone system combined with a bone conduction sensor to filter out wind and ambient noise during calls.

The FreeBuds Pro 5 offers a total battery life of up to 38 hours including the charging case. The ergonomic design was developed using over 10,000 ear scans to provide a customized fit, and the package includes four different sizes of ear tips.
