Overview

Huawei has introduced the FreeBuds Pro 5, a premium generation of True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds. The model features a lightweight design, with each earbud weighing approximately 5.5 grams, and utilizes a dual-driver audio architecture with the L2HC 4.0 codec.

The device’s active noise cancellation (ANC) system is reported to be up to 220% more effective than the previous FreeBuds Pro 4, employing environmental noise processing speeds of up to 400,000 times per second. For communication, the earbuds use a three-microphone system paired with a bone conduction sensor to filter wind and ambient noise. The product offers up to 38 hours of total battery life and includes four sizes of ear tips based on ergonomic scans.
