Huawei Pura X View launched with unique wide display

Huawei has officially unveiled the Pura X View, a smartphone distinguished by its unique 16:9.5 aspect ratio OLED display. The 6.39-inch screen features a resolution of 1320 x 2232 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 6,500 nits. The device is designed with symmetrical 1.05mm bezels and is protected by Kunlun Glass.

Under the hood, the Pura X View is powered by the Kirin 9030S chipset and includes 12GB of RAM. It is equipped with a large 7,000mAh battery that supports 66W wired and 50W wireless charging, as well as reverse charging capabilities. The phone runs on HarmonyOS 7 and carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

The camera system features a 200MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide macro lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS. A 50MP front-facing camera is also included. The device is available in four colors: black, white, gray, and red. In China, pricing starts at CNY 5,999 for the 256GB model, rising to CNY 8,499 for the 1TB version. Sales are scheduled to begin on September 9.
