Huawei Pura X View launches with unique wide aspect ratio

Huawei has released the Pura X View, a smartphone featuring a distinctive 16:9.5 aspect ratio. This wider design results in a body width of 87mm, which differs from the traditional narrow smartphone form factor. Despite its wider profile, the device maintains a slim thickness of approximately 6.68mm.

Technical specifications include a 6.39-inch OLED display with ultra-narrow bezels and a Kirin 9030S chip running HarmonyOS 7. The device is equipped with a high-density 7000mAh silicon-anode battery that supports 66W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. The camera system features a 200MP RYYB main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide macro lens.

The phone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and high-pressure heat resistance. Following its launch in mainland China, where it reportedly saw high initial sales, parallel imports have begun arriving in Hong Kong with prices starting from HK$7,680.
