Hue City invites Sun Group to explore tourism investments
Hue City officials have invited Sun Group to research and invest in tourism development projects, specifically focusing on services along the Huong River and its surrounding spaces. During a meeting led by Hue City Chairman Le Tri Thanh, local authorities presented various locations with potential for urban, commercial, and tourism development, including coastal areas.
The Hue Monuments Conservation Center highlighted opportunities to enhance heritage sites such as Ho Quyen, Kien Trung Palace, An Dinh Palace, and Tran Binh Dai. Proposed ideas include utilizing lighting technology, organizing performance programs, and creating exhibition spaces that align with the historical and cultural values of these landmarks.
Chairman Le Tri Thanh emphasized the importance of leveraging Hue’s natural landscapes and deep cultural history to create unique tourism products. He also noted that strengthening regional links between Hue, Da Nang, and Quang Tri could establish a distinctive heritage tourism axis in Central Vietnam.
