Huelva initiatives focus on sustainable tourism and social employment

In the Condado de Huelva region, the Mancomunidad de Desarrollo Condado de Huelva has launched the “Dinamiza Doñana” project. This initiative aims to boost the local tourism sector through sustainable and intelligent innovation, specifically focusing on enhancing enotourism. A recent collaborative workshop titled “Building enotourism experiences” provided local wineries and businesses with tools to design, promote, and market more attractive wine route offerings by leveraging the area's natural and cultural resources.

Simultaneously, the Huelva City Council has signed a collaboration agreement with Más Cooperativas-FAECTA, the Fundación Escuela Andaluza de Economía Social, and REAS Andalucía. This agreement seeks to promote social and solidarity economies through responsible public procurement. The goal is to foster inclusive employment and local economic development by using public contracts to create job opportunities for individuals facing barriers to the labor market, such as those in industrial laundry, energy efficiency, and waste management sectors.
