Spanish municipalities allocate over €10 million for local infrastructure and social projects

In Huelva, the provincial government funded a new surface parking lot in the Cardeñas neighbourhood with an investment of €307,265, providing 265 spaces, including ten for people with reduced mobility. Mayor Pilar Miranda said the project "means much more than new parking spaces; it represents the culmination of an integral transformation of one of the city's main accesses."

The city of La Línea de la Concepción approved €700,000 to add 40 public places to the Gómez Ulla Senior Care Centre, reinforcing residential assistance for older residents.

Madrid's city council launched €18 million in subsidies to rehabilitate districts in the south and east, covering elevators, energy‑efficiency upgrades, cultural equipment and public‑space works across Usera, Villaverde, Villa de Vallecas, Latina and Vicálvaro.
