Huelva's Colombinas Festival Revamped for 2026 with Expanded Venue

The city of Huelva is finalising preparations for the 2026 edition of the Colombinas festival, introducing major changes to the fairground that aim to modernise the event and improve visitor experience. New terrain recovered from the former Tiro Pichón area will host the concert zone, nearly doubling the capacity to almost two hectares and eliminating previous acoustic interference with nearby stalls.

Additional upgrades include a new welcome arch, relocation of the traditional market, expanded lighting with over 1.4 million points, and reinforced access routes to enhance safety, accessibility and evacuation procedures. The reforms are presented as the first step toward a future fairground more closely linked to the river promenade and the city’s historic layout.
