Huixquilucan concludes summer courses for children and working mothers
The government of Huixquilucan has concluded a series of summer courses in the Zona Popular, specifically targeting children aged 6 to 11 in the Las Canteras and Federal Burocrática neighborhoods. Managed by the Dirección General de la Mujer, the initiative aimed to provide safe recreational spaces for children while supporting the economic stability of female heads of household by allowing them to work without additional childcare costs.
Participants engaged in various artistic workshops, physical activities such as yoga and zumba, and educational games. Additionally, the program included road safety training coordinated with the Dirección General de Seguridad Pública y Vialidad, teaching children and mothers about pedestrian rules, crosswalk usage, and identifying vehicle blind spots to prevent accidents.
