Huixquilucan Mayor Romina Contreras Showcases 24/7 Service Program

The municipal government of Huixquilucan held its 179th "Huixquilucan Contigo 24/7" session, during which Mayor Romina Contreras met directly with residents of numerous neighborhoods—including Hacienda del Ciervo, Hacienda Martín Caballero, Hacienda La Antigua, Villa Florence, La Cañada, Toledo, Fuente de las Lomas and others. The mayor reiterated that the administration works "24/7" by walking the streets weekly, responding to citizen requests on public safety, infrastructure, ecology, water management and civil protection.

Residents praised recent works such as the rehabilitation of street lighting, installation of road markings and speed‑bumps, placement of pedestrian crossings, tree pruning, drainage cleaning and the addition of pet‑waste containers. They highlighted the promptness and quality of the municipal response, while the mayor stressed the program’s goal of maintaining a close, itinerant government that addresses community needs without staying behind a desk.
