Hull City prepares for Premier League with key signings

Hull City have appointed Okan Özkan to oversee the club’s transition to the Premier League, tasking him with rapidly strengthening the squad before the season starts on August 22. The team’s loan players have returned to their parent clubs, Ivor Pandur has been sold, and only goalkeeper Jack Butland has arrived so far, prompting a busy transfer window.

Sergej Jakirović’s side are also close to completing the €7 million transfer of 25‑year‑old Croatian winger Marko Pašalić from Orlando City, pending official confirmation. Additional targets mentioned include Oscar Zambrano, Swedish World‑Cup striker Elliot Stroud, and possible deals for Toni Fruk, Rokas Pusktas and Marco Pasalic. The club aims to avoid the pitfalls of the previous season and field a squad capable of competing at the top level.
