Hull City secures pre‑season victories ahead of Premier League return

Hull City opened their 2026‑27 pre‑season campaign with a 3‑0 win over Turkish side Konyaspor at the Aluminij Sports Park in Kidričevo, Slovenia. Goals came from Enis Destan, an own‑goal off Ryan Giles' cross and Abu Kamara, while Oscar Zambrano impressed in midfield despite early rust.

The Tigers will follow up the win on Tuesday with a friendly against another Turkish club, Caykur Rizespor, also in Slovenia, as part of their final preparations before the Premier League season begins in August.
