Hulu begins production on 'Prison Break: Black Creek

Hulu has officially moved the 'Prison Break' revival, titled 'Prison Break: Black Creek', into active production. The series will be available on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.

Set within the same universe as the original FOX series, the new project will follow an independent narrative. The story centers on an ex-soldier who takes a job as a correctional officer in one of the most dangerous prisons in the United States to prove her devotion to a loved one. The series is created by Elgin James.

The cast includes Emily Browning as Cassidy Collins, Lukas Gage as Jackson, Drake Rodger as Tommy, Clayton Cardenas as Ghost, JR Bourne as Junior, Myles Bullock as Darius ‘Red’ Lewis, and Georgie Flores as Andrea. Other confirmed cast members include Sam Trammell, Sean Bridgers, Kerry Bishé, Robin Weigert, Noah Emmerich, and Daniel David Stewart. Original cast members from the predecessor series are not expected to return.
