Hulu 'Prison Break: Black Creek' production updates

Overview

Hulu is moving forward with its ‘Prison Break’ revival, now officially titled ‘Prison Break: Black Creek’. Developed by showrunner Elgin James, the series is set in the same universe as the original FOX show but features an independent storyline and is not expected to include returning actors from the original cast.

The narrative follows Cassidy Collins, played by Emily Browning, an ex-soldier who becomes a corrections officer at a high-security American prison to prove her devotion to a loved one.

Production is currently underway in Los Angeles. The expanding ensemble cast includes Sam Trammell, Kerry Bishé, Sean Bridgers, Robin Weigert, Noah Emmerich as West Virginia power broker Callum Faulls, Catfish Jean as prison gang member Big Country, Augie Duke, Brad Beyer, Greg Vrotsos, Daniel David Stewart, and Michael Mosley. Other confirmed cast members are Lukas Gage as Jackson, Drake Rodger as Tommy, Clayton Cardenas as Ghost, JR Bourne as Junior, Myles Bullock as Darius ‘Red’ Lewis, and Georgie Flores as Andrea. The series will be available on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.
