Human rights developments reported across several Iranian provinces

Multiple reports highlight recent developments regarding human rights and judicial actions in Iran. Film director Mohsen Amirousofi was summoned to the Tehran Guidance Prosecutor's Office following contact from the Ministry of Intelligence. This summons occurs shortly before the international premiere of his film, ‘The Curse of Seizure,’ at the BFI London Film Festival.

In other legal developments, political prisoner Ali Jahanian was granted a ten-day leave from Malayer Prison. Meanwhile, Ayub Hamzeh was released from Naqadeh Prison after 42 days of detention upon paying a 2 billion toman bail.

Concerns have been raised regarding the medical treatment of civil activist Yashar Tabrizi (Akbar Gholizadeh) in Tabriz Central Prison, who is reportedly being denied access to necessary cardiac care. Additionally, the execution of Reza Sheikhi, a 30-year-old man convicted of drug trafficking, was carried out at the Dastgerd Central Prison in Isfahan.
