Israeli military leaders have issued strategic warnings to political leadership that the security situation in the West Bank is on the “verge of explosion” due to escalating settler violence. Military officials report a significant rise in incidents, with 682 recorded in 2024, 867 in 2025, and 636 in the first half of 2026 alone.
