Lahj humanitarian relief efforts target displaced families

Humanitarian relief operations have been launched in Yemen to support displaced families facing severe living conditions. In Lahj governorate, the Emergency Committee initiated several projects providing food baskets, cash assistance, and shelter supplies. These efforts include the distribution of 1,410 food baskets supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre, as well as emergency cash transfers for 800 families funded by Oxfam. Additionally, a relief convoy delivered essential items such as food, tents, blankets, water tanks, and hygiene kits to displaced persons in Wadi Sha'bu within the Al-Mudariyah district.

In Aden, community committees coordinated with local authorities to distribute aid cards to families fleeing conflict in northern provinces. These distributions, funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre and implemented by organizations like Renaissance Makers, aim to secure basic needs for those residing in the Al-Tawahi district.
