Humanitarian aid efforts reported in Langkat and Gorontalo

In Indonesia, various humanitarian and social welfare initiatives are addressing local crises. In Langkat, the Pertamina EP Pangkalan Susu Field emergency response team distributed essential food supplies to villages in Besitang and Sei Lepan following floods. Affected areas, including Desa Sekoci and Desa Lama Baru, experienced water levels between 30 and 80 centimeters. The aid packages contained rice, eggs, instant noodles, canned food, cooking oil, and sugar to meet the urgent needs of isolated residents.

In Gorontalo, the TP Posyandu Gorontalo provincial team launched a pilot project to combat stunting in Tabumela Village, Tilango District. The initiative provided milk to 30 toddlers as part of a cross-sector intervention involving health, social, education, and public works departments. This program aims to reduce stunting rates in the Gorontalo Regency through collaborative government efforts, following a similar implementation in Bone Bolango Regency.
