Humanitarian initiatives in Croatia raise significant funds for medical causes
Two separate humanitarian initiatives in Croatia have successfully raised significant funds for various causes.
The Senjska League Against Cancer announced that its third Humanitarian Tournament of Senj Settlements raised a total of 14,452 euros. According to President Miroslav Prpić, the funds will be used to support patients with malignant diseases and to organize educational lectures to raise public awareness about cancer.
In a separate effort, Klementina Batinić raised over 16,000 euros following a 260-kilometer journey. The funds were distributed among four recipients: the Nephrology Department of KBC Osijek, the DAR Association for families of children with autism, Mateja Bakotić, a boy battling spinal muscular atrophy, and the Javor Scout Club.
