Humanitarian organizations in Croatia launch seasonal aid campaigns

Various humanitarian organizations in Croatia are launching seasonal fundraising campaigns to support vulnerable populations.

The Red Cross Crikvenica is conducting its 54th annual ‘Solidarity in Action 2026’ campaign. The initiative aims to collect monetary donations to purchase food and hygiene packages for the most disadvantaged residents of Crikvenica ahead of the Christmas holidays. The campaign includes public collection points, school involvement, and direct bank transfers. In addition to fundraising, the Red Cross will partner with the Crikvenica Health Center to offer free blood pressure and blood sugar testing during public events.

Separately, Caritas of the Zagreb Archdiocese has announced its ‘When you do good, do double good’ campaign tied to the Feast of All Saints. Funds raised through the purchase of eco-friendly lanterns or direct donations are intended to purchase vehicles for transporting children and mothers served by the Caritas House of Love, as well as to support daily care services for these beneficiaries.
