Humanoid robots deployed for traffic management in Wuhu, China

Humanoid robots have been deployed to assist traffic police in Wuhu, Anhui province, China. Developed by AiMOGA Robotics, these robots are integrated with city traffic light systems to perform standard signaling tasks.

Equipped with high-definition cameras and smart voice broadcasting systems, the autonomous patrol robots can detect and record illegally parked vehicles. They are also capable of providing real-time voice warnings to electric scooter riders who violate traffic rules, such as running red lights or failing to wear helmets.

The robots are designed to operate continuously, helping to reduce the workload for police officers during peak hours and in extreme weather conditions. Additionally, these humanoid robots are utilized in local government administrative halls to provide public service guidance, assisting visitors with directions and information.
