Humanoid robots may enter Polish retail market within a year

Humanoid robots may enter the Polish retail market within the next year or two, according to technology industry experts. A recent industry report, ‘Co Polacy myślą o robotach humanoidalnych w handlu?’, indicates high levels of public readiness for this technology.

Only 11% of Polish consumers surveyed would not accept robots performing tasks in stores. The most accepted roles for humanoids include providing product information, indicating product locations, and restocking shelves, each receiving approximately 32% support.

Experts from Brave Mind Fighters note that while there is a ‘social credit of trust,’ consumers are more comfortable using robots as information sources rather than shopping advisors. There remains significant caution regarding delegating sensitive tasks such as payments, returns, and complaints to automated systems. For successful implementation, experts suggest that retailers should focus on providing real business value and solving specific customer problems, such as product availability, rather than using robots merely as technological attractions.
