HUN-REN to host Researchers' Night with 133 programs across Hungary
The Hungarian Research Network (HUN-REN) will host the Researchers' Night on September 25–26, 2026. The event features 133 programs across nine institutions located in Budapest, Debrecen, Martonvásár, Miskolc, Sopron, and Szeged.
Activities include laboratory visits, interactive demonstrations, and lectures covering diverse scientific fields. Highlights include quantum computing, humanoid robots, and drone simulations at SZTAKI in Budapest. In Debrecen, the HUN-REN Atomic Research Institute will focus on aerogels and radioactive radiation. Other featured topics include Earth and space sciences in Sopron, remote sensing in agriculture at the Agroverzum Scientific Experience Center, and artificial intelligence applications at the Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics. The program also encompasses brain research, material science, and stem cell research.
