Overview
The Hungarian Research Network (HUN-REN) has initiated several scientific engagement and educational programs. In late September 2026, the network hosted Researchers’ Night, an event featuring 133 programs across nine institutions in cities including Budapest, Debrecen, and Szeged. Aimed at Hungarian-speaking secondary school students, the competition focuses on physics and mathematics problem-solving to identify candidates for the 2027 International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics.
