Hungarian community festivals scheduled for September 2026

Several community festivals are scheduled to take place in Hungary in September 2026.

In Kápolnásnyék, the Mihály-napi Vigasságok and Falunapot will be held on September 18–19 at Vörösmarty Park. The free two-day event features concerts by artists such as Caramel, Bunyós Pityu, and Keresztes Ildikó, alongside a Queen Tribute performance. The program includes a cooking competition, family activities, a street party, and traditional folk games for children.

In Katonatelep, the Szüreti Nap festival is set for September 5. This event includes the 11th annual cauldron cooking competition and a cake-baking contest. Other scheduled activities include a horse-drawn carriage parade, saber fencing demonstrations, darts tournaments, and jump rope performances. Evening entertainment will feature Hip Hop Boyz and various DJs.
