Hungarian Forint fluctuates as BUX index hits record high

The Hungarian Forint has experienced minor fluctuations against major currencies. On Tuesday, the currency weakened slightly in the interbank market, with the Euro trading around 365.21 HUF and the US Dollar at approximately 316.56 HUF. By Wednesday morning, the Forint showed slight strengthening, with the Euro at 365.07 HUF and the Dollar at 316.53 HUF.

In the equity market, the Budapest Stock Exchange's BUX index reached a new historical peak on Tuesday, closing at 149,903.82 points, an increase of 0.89 percent. Notable performers included MOL, which saw a significant rise of 2.98 percent.
