Hungarian Handball Federation shifts TV coverage to Sport TV

The Hungarian Handball Federation (MKS) and AMC Global Media Central Europe have signed a long‑term agreement that will move the broadcast of domestic handball competitions from public media to the private Sport TV network. Beginning with the 2026‑27 season, Sport TV will air the K&H men’s and women’s leagues, the Hungarian Cups, the Super Cups and all national‑team matches organized by the federation, delivering more than 400 games per season.

AMC’s Central‑Europe deputy chairman Málnay B. Levente said the partnership will provide a stable, long‑term home for the sport, while MKS president Ilyés Ferenc highlighted the decade‑long collaboration with public broadcaster MTVA that is now concluding. The move is intended to increase the sport’s visibility and attract a larger TV audience.
