Hungarian Parliament expels journalist following confrontation

During a session of the Hungarian Parliament, an incident occurred involving Péter Magyar and journalist/influencer Virág Gulyás. While responding to questions regarding the temporary closure and reopening of the House of Terror, Péter Magyar addressed Gulyás, who was present in the gallery, labeling her a propagandist who had received tens of millions in public funds.

Gulyás responded from the gallery, stating that Magyar should not lie about her. In response to the exchange, Speaker Anikó Hallerné Nagy intervened, stating that Gulyás had not received permission to speak and requested that security guards escort her out of the chamber.

Gulyás later shared her account of the event, noting that while she was waiting for security, Péter Magyar gestured a farewell to her. She clarified that she was escorted from the chamber rather than the entire building and maintained that she is an independent communications expert not affiliated with any political party.
