Hungary reports multiple criminal incidents including stolen aircraft and fatal accidents

Several criminal cases and incidents have been reported across Hungary. In Kalocsa, a 24-year-old man without a license or training stole a Cessna aircraft, flying it into the restricted airspace of the Paks Nuclear Power Plant before making an emergency landing. The incident triggered the deployment of Gripen fighter jets and incurred millions in costs for the defense forces.

In Siófok, a court ordered criminal supervision instead of arrest for an 18-year-old man suspected of causing a fatal accident on August 11. The suspect allegedly drove at approximately 100 km/h in a 40 km/h zone, striking a cyclist. Separately, a 26-year-old driver from Siófok was detained after being caught driving without a license on the M7 motorway following a report of a vehicle in poor technical condition.

Other legal actions include a 49-year-old man in Győr facing charges for domestic violence and psychological torture, including forcing his partner to dig her own grave at gunpoint. Additionally, a 24-year-old woman in Szeghalmi is facing charges for fraud after allegedly using fake advertisements for erotic services to solicit money from men without providing the promised services.
