Hungarian Rail Service Replaces Trains with Buses on Püspökladány–Biharkeresztes Line

From July 31 to August 3, maintenance work on the Püspökladány–Biharkeresztes railway line will disrupt regular train services. Between Biharkeresztes and Berettyóújfalu, all trains will be substituted by replacement buses, which depart about ten minutes earlier than the former train schedules. Trains between Berettyóújfalu and Püspökladány will continue on the usual timetable.

During nighttime and early‑morning hours, the entire route will be served by buses, including the 21:30 departure from Püspökladány to Biharkeresztes and the 03:46 return. The buses stop at the station forecourt and at the VOLÁN stop on Kossuth Street in Mezőpeterd. Passengers are advised to check the MÁV and MÁVPlusz mobile apps, the website, or station notices for the latest information.
