Hungarian public media renews cultural programming and game shows
Hungarian public media is undergoing a programming shift aimed at restoring social trust and diversifying cultural content. Duna Médiaszolgáltató Nonprofit Zrt. stated that its goal is to provide a balanced selection of artists based on their cultural value and performance rather than political affiliations.
As part of this renewal, various musical and cultural figures who were previously absent from public broadcasting have returned to programs on Duna, Petőfi TV, and Petőfi Rádió. Notable artists appearing in recent programming include Bródy János, Majka, Beton. Hofi, and Parnó Graszt, among others.
Additionally, the popular game show ‘Magyarország, szeretlek!’ is confirmed to return to Duna TV on August 30 at 19:45. Following recent uncertainties regarding MTVA programming, the show will continue with Kiss Ernő Zsolt as host and Nagy Adri and Vida Péter as team captains. A spin-off series, ‘Magyarország, szeretlek! – Játszunk még!’, is also scheduled to air weekdays starting September 7.
