Hungary recalls hazardous TEDi wok pan

The Hungarian National Trade and Consumer Protection Authority announced a product recall of the 28 cm "Wok Pan Natural Kitchen" wok sold in TEDi stores. The pan's non‑stick coating can detach during cooking, creating a health risk as fragments may enter food.

The wok was manufactured in China and entered Hungary via Germany. TEDi is cooperating with the authority to withdraw the items from shelves, collect them from consumers and arrange refunds or replacements. Consumers are urged to stop using the pan immediately and return it to the point of purchase.
