Hungary: Tisza Party Surpasses Fidesz in Latest Poll

A June poll by Median, cited by HVG, shows the opposition Tisza Party at 60 % support among the total population, while the governing Fidesz‑KDNP coalition is at 18 %. Among those who intend to vote, Tisza reaches 71 % and Fidesz 73 %. The governing party’s overall backing slipped by one percentage point since the election, and the opposition fell by three points. Among voters who say they will definitely vote in the next election, Fidesz lost two points, whereas Tisza gained three points. The data indicates a widening gap between the two parties after the election.
