Data from the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH) reveals that in June 2026, the average gross monthly salary for full-time employees in Hungary was 754,700 HUF. The average net salary for the same period was 529,700 HUF.
In terms of median values, the gross median salary stood at 617,900 HUF, while the net median salary was 438,000 HUF. Compared to the same period last year, gross average wages rose by 7.1 percent, net average wages increased by 9.4 percent, and real wages grew by 7.6 percent.
Additionally, the gross median salary saw an 8.8 percent year-on-year increase, while the net median salary rose by 10.9 percent.
